I’ve found that the Ghia takes the tight turns and narrow roads of the hilly areas and canyons better than the Clubman, and I now prefer the old Volkswagen when driving the side-roads.

The wonderful thing about California is that, if you want to get away from the major cities and have a road all to yourself, you can. This particular route is a recently-discovered favorite — in the right weather, I can almost forget I’m between two cities with populations that may be larger than some counties.

A New Venture

Like so many, only time will tell if it will be a success… or a failure.

We shall see.

But, for now, all I can say is this: Put on your goggles, folks. It’s going to be a hell of a ride finding out.
